Zion Assembly Church is a community of individuals and families from varied backgrounds and classes of society who are joined together by a compelling passion to grow in their faith and to share their lives as defined and declared by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We gather to experience the healing and renewal that can be attained through genuine relationships and profound expressions of love with other like-minded believers in Jesus Christ.

Zion Assembly shall shine by a new vision of the Finish with grace to live a mature life in Christ, and with the capacity and compassion to bring healing to our generation. Apostolic grace builds within us a reformation of our faith mentality so that we would “lay hold” upon the principles of God’s word that will advance His kingdom. The outgrowth of our reformation continues daily to evolve us into more effective patterns of lifestyle and obedience to kingdom principles. We are pressing into this vision with a higher mentality and understanding of God’s purpose, with deep reverence of His holiness, and also with love for the body of Christ. We are advancing, therefore, farther into a more accurate expression of the Lord Jesus Christ, and to stand in representation of the body of Christ.

OUR PASTORAL CONCEPT

We intentionally activate the pastoral and evangelistic dimensions of the church by expressing the responsibility for the life of the ministry beyond the primary leadership into the hands of the wider body. The growth group is limited in size to afford every member the opportunity to receive personal care and attention from within the community so as to facilitate integration, growth and partnership in the faith. Every member takes an active part within the growth group establishing commitment, ownership, and a greater sense of belonging.

Raleigh Wingfield

Senior Elder

Elder Raleigh Wingfield, a native of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has been an active and devoted servant to his community for more than four decades. His leadership and ministry have spanned roles as a counselor, mentor, organizer, and minister, reflecting his lifelong commitment to faith and service.

Elder Wingfield served the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for over 22 years, primarily in the areas of human resource management and organizational development. His professional background also includes course development, program administration, and leadership training.

Having dedicated his life to Jesus Christ early in adulthood, Elder Wingfield has faithfully served in ministry for more than 45 years. In 1985, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, he accepted the call to establish a faith community founded upon the principles of 2 Corinthians 3:1–6. This call gave birth to Zion Assembly Church, where he continues to serve diligently as Senior Elder.

Elder Wingfield and his wife, Renee, have been united in marriage for over 50 years. Together, they are blessed with four children, nine grandchildren, & one great grandchild.

Network of

Zion Assembly Church is a member of the Kingdom Community Network of CongressWBN. Our Kingdom Community Network Sector, or KCN, is a network of thousands of church communities throughout the world. The KCN serves as a global resource base for the entire Congress. Through the KCN, Congress WBN supports church communities with a range of leadership development, community strengthening and capacity building initiatives.
