WHAT DESCRIBES US:
In Zion, we identify ourselves as: 1) a Pillar and Ground of Truth, 2) a House or Prayer, and as 3) a Place of Worship
The following is a collective of what we value:
o Everyone in Zion loves the truth, finds it precious, and makes every effort to live and walk in the truth. (2 Jn 1:1)
o We are people who have a strong love for the truth and not just what is true.
o The Spirit of Truth is always alive here. It is a living thing that is always at work in the way I relate with my brother.
o Part of the discovery of Truth is to be willing to dig deep, drink deep, with lots of discussion and walking it out; I am not afraid to not get it right the first time, for my brother and sister look out for me.
o I do have my opinion, I do have my thoughts, but I am constantly willing to lay them down and be corrected at the revealing of truth.
o We will not initiate anything unless prayer has been done.
o Everyone in Zion prays.
o Deliberate actions and change must accomplish my hearing.
o I never check out or miss out. I may miss, but I never miss out.
o We look for ways to act upon our care for others.
o Zion values being the Throne Room of God, being the Tabernacle of God.
o We love strong worship with full participation.
o We value body life. We constantly fellowship with each other.
o Zion values placing a premium on hearing from God and putting it into practice. (Matt 7:24-27)
o We desire to be strongly involved in all areas of the process Discipleship. We love to disciple others.
o Zion values a focus on youth and children - Parents are more aware of the spiritual barometer of their children.
o We are diligent to be on time when it is time to assemble for worship (Wedding Call Parable)
o We are a people who are all engaged to create an environment for true fellowship and intimate relationship of the highest order.
