Building the Faith of the People... ...Teaching Kingdom Life
|
Our Small Groups are called Clusters
Isaiah 65:8 (NKJV) Thus says the Lord: "As the new wine is found in the cluster..."
The objective of the CLUSTER Initiative is to build Zion Assembly upon the foundation of Christ. We are pursuing greater accuracy and expression that God desires for His church by digging deeper into the word of God, using guided discussions. Discussion points evolve around current doctrinal principles being spoken to Zion Assembly on all levels - Personal and Corporate.
The members will be using our spiritual gifts to edify and encourage one another in prayer and other forms of ministry, and personally developing our spiritual maturity through serving and building strong personal relationships with one another.
We also seek to mature through our personal evangelism by inviting friends and family members to attend. A prevailing value and culture within the life of each cluster must be redemption and reconciliation with God through His saving grace in Christ Jesus. Therefore the search for persons to invite must be guided by our keen perception of lifestyles and patterns that would suggest a person is in need. NOTE: our focus is not new members to Zion, but rather that we cause everyone who attends to know the perfect love of God.
Each small group meets at least monthly, in member's homes. We believe, wholeheartedly, that we are 'carefully joined together'. This covenant joining makes us the place where God is dwelling. God is in the details and character of our joined-ness.
In CLUSTER we,
- Drink into the Spirit for deeper conceptualization and actualization of Truth;
- Provide personal ministry to one another;
- Unify our faith that is through Jesus Christ in the purpose God has for His church, and;
- Utilize the attributes of grace that God has given to Zion for the further advance of His purposes to save the lost in our region.
