Our Goal
Our goal is to preach the gospel message of the Lord Jesus Christ to every man woman and child in the city of Harrisburg and beyond, bringing them to wholeness (which is Zion) according to the perfecting work of the Holy Spirit so that they fulfill the purpose of God, which is to obtain their inheritance of eternal life.
WE BELIEVE that the power of God lies in the preaching of the cross of Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 1:17-18). Therefore all ministries of the church proclaim the cross and its power to bring about a new life.
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ must have preeminence in things (Col. 1:16-18); that is what makes us His church. Therefore we teach and live by Jesus Christ's commandments and ensure that His purpose is the core and substance of all things that we do.
WE BELIEVE that the highest form of spirituality for a child of God is to serve the needs of others to the full measure of the gift of Christ they've attained (Isa. 58:6-14). Therefore we serve others exhaustively.
WE BELIEVE that when a person accepts Jesus Christ as their personal savior it is the clearest evidence that God is manifest and is working through us (Isa. 59:12). Therefore we are instruments in God's hands operating in various ways with the message of redemption and reconciliation of the souls of men (2 Cor. 5:18-20).
