If we live in the Spirit, let us also Walk in the Spirit. Gal. 5:25
At Zion Assembly, we focus on knowing how to reflexively accomplish this imperative of our salvation. It must become so that we all perceive the Holy Spirit by becoming more acquainted with the nature of His residency within our heart, hear and yield to what He reveals, and make choices in life (easy or difficult) in accordance to the will of God.
1. We are acquainted with the warfare of the two different worlds (realities):
a. The carnal world of flesh, ruled by law because of human passion and desire driven by sin, and;
b. The realm of the Spirit (how Christ teaches us to apply ourselves to the ways of His Kingdom – the righteousness of God).
2. When we walk by the Spirit, we are to live by the experience of a higher principle; a principle called “the law of the Spirit of Life” (Rom 8:2). We even rejoice when we suffer for Christ. We are comforted knowing that the suffering of this world is necessary in order to live by faith, but is not worthy to be compared to the glory that will one day be revealed in us (Rom. 8:17-18).
3. We are indebted to the Spirit. Those who are Christ’s have resolved to continue working out their salvation by the help of the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:26-28). We do this knowing that we are pleasing God.
